Itinerary

Your private transfer will be waiting to whisk you away to Villa Faldi, our countryside retreat nestled between Florence and Chianti in the heart of Tuscany. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to settle in before enjoying a welcome aperitivo on the estate. Rest up — we have quite the week planned for you.

The week kicks off with a Chianti Wine Tour — visits to renowned wineries, tastings of some of the region’s finest wines, and the chance to meet the people who make them. A Tuscan lunch prepared with local ingredients rounds out a perfect first full day.

Today we’ll explore the birthplace of the Renaissance and Tuscany’s romantic capital. A half-day guided tour takes you to the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s David and through the city’s most iconic streets and landmarks. The afternoon and evening are yours to explore freely — dinner, shopping, wandering — before your transfer brings you back to the villa.

Join an expert truffle hunter and his trusty dog for an authentic hunt in the heart of Tuscany. With an English-speaking guide by your side, you’ll learn the secrets of the hunt as you wander through the woods together. Afterward, sit down to a lunch at Villa Faldi, built around the truffles you found.

Learn to cook authentic Italian dishes alongside a genuine Florentine chef at our private countryside villa. He’ll walk you through a full Tuscan meal from start to finish — a traditional antipasto, fresh pasta made from scratch, and a dessert worth the trip on its own. Spend a full day discovering two of Tuscany’s most iconic towns. In Siena, a professional guide will lead you through the historic center — past the sweeping Piazza del Campo, the Cathedral, and centuries of stories built into every street. Then it’s on to lunch in the Tuscan countryside before continuing to San Gimignano, where the medieval towers come into view long before you arrive. Once there, the afternoon is yours with free time to explore the winding streets, try local specialties, and soak in the views.
